It reads like a linear story, but will follow different paths depending on the choices the reader makes along the way. With only about 75 pieces of text, this is a relatively small story. We can anticipate HUGE stories, once they begin appearing on CD-ROM. But the programming would be a nightmare. That's why I am developing an authoring system that automates the scripting process required to create multi-linear stories. Authors! If you would like to try writing your own multi-linear story using this authoring system, let me know and I will add your name to the beta-test list.
